Ethical Statement

I looked into using ethical fabrics, such as those created by Green Fibres, but taking into consideration that my final design uses spray paint which isnt ethical for the environment, I have decided that it is more important during this current economical climate to support local businesses so i shall be using fabric from Percy's in Newton Abbot.

Surface Decoration

In my designs recently, I have experimented with spray paint. It gives an interesting aesthetic to the fabric but also changes the properties, I tested it on a variety of different fabrics and found that synthetic fabrics took on paper-like properties.

I think that my designs are very "Blair Wardorf" from Gossip Girl, they are conservative with a bit of something unique. They have similar style lines to the dresses Blair wears.
